Skip Shearman
Forensics, Advisory and Valuation ManagerSkip Shearman is a manager in the regulatory compliance consulting practice, with over 17 years of banking and consulting experience. His background in the financial services industry provides an excellent foundation for his consulting practice.
Skip has extensive experience conducting internal audit services relating to regulatory compliance and controls. He has conducted and/or directed approximately 80 audits related to compliance with USA Patriot Act, the Bank Secrecy Act ("BSA") and the Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") requirements. He has performed risk assessments, developed numerous internal audit plans, trained internal auditors, as well as managed internal audit departments for credit unions.
He is a member of the National Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists. Skip attended Florida International University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
