Litigation Consulting Principal
Edward V. Gannon has been with Kaufman, Rossin & Co. since 1994 and is one of the Firm's litigation consulting specialist.
For more than twenty years, Ed has been assisting attorneys with the financial aspects of their cases, including: estimating economic damages (commercial and personal), preparing business valuations, fraud investigations, business consulting, and assisting with family law matters (equitable distribution, needs analysis, co-mingling analyses, financial affidavit preparation, child support guidelines, etc.).
His role includes expert testimony and assistance at trials, mediations, arbitrations, depositions, discovery and document management. Prior experience includes utility rate applications, forensic accounting, and company control and reporting to debt holders.
Ed has been designated an Accredited Senior Appraiser by the American Society of Appraisers, and a Certified Forensic Financial Analyst by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
He is an associate Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant's Forensic and Valuation Services Section, a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants Valuation and Litigation Services Section, an associate member of the FICPA, and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. In addition, Ed is the past President of the Miami chapter of the American Society of Appraisers, and for the past 10 years has been on the School of Accounting Advisory Board for Florida International University.
Ed earned his Master's degree from the University of South Florida, with a concentration in Finance, and his Bachelor's degree from Florida International University.
